Multi Classic 16x16 Gauged slate tiles are available in a wide variety of multicolor shades including rusts, grays, creams, blacks and reds. It is recommended for exterior use in non-freezing climates and indoor project applications including flooring, backsplashes and walls.This product has a Natural cleft surface and due to the clefts on the surface it will not have an even thickness. This is perfectly normal for this product and that is what is the beauty of this tile. The back of this tile is gauged to enable installers to make the work easy while installing.

Ordered 30+ boxes. Came on two pallets. One pallet was wrapped and packed very well. The second pallet was not packed very well. However only a couple of boxes contained damaged tiles. The thickness of each tile is a bit different but you sort them and keep similar tile close when laying.
