Montauk Black 16 Sft French Pattern Gauged Slate Floor Tiles are available in a wide variety of tile sizes and has low variations and veining of blacks and greens.It is recommended for exterior projects in climates with no freezing temperatures for flooring and walls.This product has a Natural cleft surface and due to the clefts on the surface it will not have an even thickness. This is perfectly normal for this product and that is what is the beauty of this tile. The back of this tile is gauged to enable installers to make the work easy while installing.

Unfortunately our tile has a lot of chipped corners even though the shipping crate was in perfect condition which means they were cracked before shipping. It wasn't until our tile guys were unboxing it that they noticed a lot of the corners were chipped. We're hoping we'll be able to make it by without having to order more. The pieces also don't fit together perfectly like they should so we'll have to deal with uneven grout lines.
