Horrible consistency and NOT California Gold
This slate has to be the ugliest, most inconsistent, mixed up batch I have ever seen. I have over 1500 sq feet of slate in my house and it is all California Gold and this tile is NOT. It is thin, then the next piece thick, then broken, then bright orange, then pure black..... horrific and UGLY. I will be hard-pressed to pick out enough of the 90 sq feet to accommodate my shower build out --- NONE of them are the consistent thickness as shown in the pics and if I'm lucky enough to come across a nice one - it's broken. RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS CRAPPY SLATE TILE.
